Transoma Medical has a strong intellectual property portfolio and technology platform, with 40 worldwide patents issued and 45 pending. The company has approximately 280 employees, along with the infrastructure and proven executive management team to bring new products to the market.
Transoma introduces the Sleuth ECG Monitoring System in 2007, a remote wireless system to capture electrocardiogram data for diagnosing cardiac arrhythmias.
In January 2005, Transoma started a clinical trial of the LVP-1000*, the first human use, implantable wireless diagnostic device for monitoring left ventricular pressure. The LVP-1000 is the first in a series of products that are intended to provide timely, relevant information for patients suffering from chronic illnesses.
